Starting with that wonderful Playdate Kids on the beach, the little brother needs a little help. He has to go and doesn’t know what to do. Big sister shows him where the bathrooms are while the children dance on the attached CD. The song explains what to do from lifting the seat to washing hands. Each line of verse is colorfully illustrated in the book by WM Edwards. The song and book go on to explain that everyone, everywhere uses the potty, from firemen to teachers to moms and dads and even cats. In the back of the book there is an age appropriate explanation of what is happening to our food and why we all have to leave. At the very end of the CD, the toilet flushes, marking the end. Just another humorous touch to lighten things up.
This is a fun and different approach to something every parent has to go through…potty training their children. It’s much more fun than any other similar book I’ve seen. Perfect for the youngest child, parents will surely be satisfied. You can even keep the CD on hand to play in the appropriate room of the house at the appropriate time. This is a great tool that I only wish was available years ago. Great job!
