HOW TO PREVENT SUDDEN DEATH:

1) Every middle-aged individual, regardless of health statistics, should go for regular medical examinations at least twice a year.

2) Foods such as eggs, cheese, butter, hard margarine, fatty meat, refined or simple sugar, cakes and confectionery as well as others containing saturated fat should be reduced to a minimum level.

3) Avoid fatty foods or reduce intake.

4) Substitute for fish, skinless chicken, lean meat and beans as a source of protein.

5) It is healthier and more economical to increase the intake of fiber-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables.

6) It is recommended to cook or fry in unsaturated oil such as soybean oil.

7) Refrain from adding salt to table food or salty snacks.

8) Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol.

9) Refrain from smoking.
