Healing of Cancer: Voodoo Death in Cancer Patients

While witch doctors are found in uncivilized parts of the world, do you think that such voodoo culture does not exist in civilized countries? Let us analyze the following two cases of liver cancer.

Story 1: Gan was a 62-year-old man. He had a fever with vomiting and diarrhea for about two weeks. He was admitted to a private hospital. A CT scan showed a 9 x 10.5 x 9 cm mass in segments 4 and 8 of the liver. The mass was seen to spread towards the porta hepatis. The intrahepatic ducts are not dilated.

The doctor said that Gan has hepatocellular carcinoma. After that, he was sent to the university hospital for further treatment, but he did not continue it. He came to us on August 6, 2000 and opted for herbs instead. His condition was quite good then. He had no complaints other than a slight midnight fever. Gan started on our liver herbs.

Gan responded well to the plants. After a week his appetite increased. He slept well through the night, whereas before he had disturbed sleep and woke up every hour of the night. He felt more awake. His expression showed that he looked much better than before. The midnight fevers are also gone.

On September 10, 2000, Gan told us that he had more energy and was able to run. September 21, 2001, i.e. after a year and two months on herbs, i met gana again. He told me he was not going to do any more blood work because the alpha fetoprotein levels had increased from 179 in August 2000 (before taking the herbs) to 88,917 in June 2001 (after taking the herbs). He saw no point in knowing more about it. However, he did well and returned to work as a mechanic. He had no symptoms or complaints.

Gan received amazing relief from all his symptoms after taking the herbs for just one week. He could sleep, eat and work. After three months of taking the herbs, his liver function results returned to normal. However, the rising level of AFP indicated the fact that something was wrong with him. We didn’t know what else to do to help him. Maybe this is a case of ‘live and let live’ and hope for the best. Of course, Gan had the option of going to surgery or other medical interventions, which he refused from the beginning. Looking at it from a positive point of view, Gan didn’t fare too badly compared to those who opted for medical treatments. Many who had the operation died soon after, while others developed multiple liver tumors. There is no certainty in cancer. What is certain about the outcome of such cases is its uncertainty.

Story 2: Danny was a 55-year-old man. In September 2001, he had a sudden stomach ache. Investigations performed at the hospital showed multiple liver masses with ascites. He was then referred to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. Abdominal CT showed “multiple nodules enlarging throughout the liver. The largest of these is 12 cm in diameter and is located in segment 5. This particular nodule shows mixed density with areas of decreased density in its center. It hangs down the lower border of the liver and makes appears to be surrounded by fairly thick fluid. Thick fluid is also seen around the liver. The appearance is probably due to a multicentric hepatoma with bleeding from the largest tumor. Multiple secondaries are another consideration.”

A tru-cut biopsy confirmed well-differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma. A chest X-ray showed an enlarged heart. The right hemidiaphragm was raised and a slight pleural effusion was noted on the left.

Surgery is not indicated in this case. Afterwards, Danny underwent transarterial chemoembolization. After this treatment, the blood test results were not encouraging. The doctor told family members that Danny only had three to twelve months to live.

Danny and his family came to see us on September 30, 2001. He wasn’t in pain, but he couldn’t sleep. He had been on tranquilizers for the previous three or four nights. He couldn’t sleep. He had a dry cough and was a bit out of breath. He had a fever every day from 4 to 5 p.m. We have prescribed our herbs for the liver.

After a week on the herbs, Danny reported mild pain. He was able to fall asleep without having to take tranquilizers anymore. He lost his appetite. But his breathing was better. The evening fevers have subsided. Before taking the herbs, the evening fever usually lasted three to four hours, and his temperature was about 39 degrees C. After taking the herbs, the fever lasted only one or two hours, and the temperature was about 37.5 degrees.

After two weeks on the herb, Danny reported further improvements. He was no longer in pain. His breathing improved and he slept well. He felt more awake. Some evenings he either didn’t have a fever or when he did, his temperature was only around 37 degrees C.

After about a month of taking the herbs, Danny told us that he refused to undergo further chemoembolization because his condition had improved significantly. He was no longer in pain, he could sleep, he was more alert and he was breathing normally. His appetite improved. He only had a fever for two evenings and his temperature was around 37.5 degrees C. He told us his blood pressure was a little low, 100/70.

In November 2001, Danny came and told us that he no longer had a fever in the evening. This was after he had been taking the herbs for about six weeks. In late November 2001, Danny reported that his blood pressure had returned to normal, 110/80. He looked bright and healthy!

It was really amazing to see Danny doing so well. We had a VCD recording all of Danny’s visits. During the first visit, he was wearing a jacket. He looked sick. His movements were stiff, slow and lifeless. He was out of breath as he spoke. A week later, Danny was different. He had more energy. He walked with a lot of energy.

We ask some questions again: This is about a man who was bleeding due to the rupture of a liver tumor. He stopped chemoembolization after just one treatment and opted for herbs instead. Why was he better? Why was there no more fever? Why did his blood pressure return to normal? No drugs or medical procedures were involved in this case. In fact, he suffered bad side effects while on treatment! This is truly a miraculous cure.

On January 20, 2002, Danny and his family came to see us. He was in perfect health. Then, barely a month later, Danny came again and he was feeling pretty bad. He spent time surfing the Internet and learned that his cancer was a terminal disease. He was depressed and this new information made him feel depressed all week.

To understand why this happens, let’s go back a little further to the time before Danny came to see us. On September 17, 2001, Danny’s doctor wrote: “The prognosis is guarded and his family has been informed.” And according to the family, Danny only has three to twelve months to live!

We could predict that the outcome of Danny’s and Gan’s recovery would be different, even though they suffered from similar incurable liver cancers. As William Oslo said, survival largely depends on what goes on in the head. I suspected that Danny was under a voodoo curse. He knew his cancer was serious and he only had three to twelve months to live. Although he had benefited from consuming herbs, he still felt hopeless and uncertain about the outcome. He once told me: “I’m fine and I feel great on the outside, but I don’t know what’s going on inside.” His family members also told me that Danny worries too much. Despite all the improvements he experienced from taking the herbs, his daughter told me that Danny only hoped he could live another two months, until his son would graduate from college. He was looking forward to a successful graduation and then he was ready to die. No matter how much I assured him it would be fine, he was still skeptical.

On the other hand, Gan was not under a voodoo curse. His doctor didn’t have a chance to tell him how long he might live. He decided on herbs and refused further medical help. He knew his cancer was serious, but he left it at that! When the blood test showed elevated AFP, he simply stopped going for the test. When I talked to Gana, he didn’t give any doubts like Danny did. For me, the prognosis for both cases was extremely poor. Gan survived for two years, but Danny died much earlier – not only because of cancer but because of his mindset.
